In These Terms
01 / SCOPE AND USE
Website Terms and Your Use of the Site.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Billing Horizon’s public website and its content, forms, and related online resources. References to “Billing Horizon,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Billing Horizon. References to “you” mean the person using the website or the organization that person is authorized to represent.
Use the website lawfully and consistently with these terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use. These terms do not, by themselves, authorize paid services, access to client systems, or the exchange of patient records.
02 / AUTHORITY TO SUBMIT INQUIRIES
Business Inquiries and Accurate Information.
The website is intended for adults and healthcare business decision-makers. When submitting a request for an organization, you must have authority to provide the information and initiate that inquiry.
Provide accurate contact information and a truthful description of your request. Do not impersonate another person, use a number or email address you are not authorized to provide, or submit misleading information. A request to meet is subject to confirmation; submitting a preferred date or time does not establish a confirmed appointment.
03 / SEPARATE SERVICE AGREEMENTS
An Inquiry Does Not Establish a Service Engagement.
Website descriptions outline potential services, including medical billing, coding support, credentialing, and revenue cycle management. Actual scope, fees, responsibilities, implementation arrangements, and service obligations are established in a separate agreement.
A form submission, consultation, demonstration, or exchange of preliminary information does not create a client relationship or obligate either party to enter an engagement. Where required, appropriate confidentiality and business associate arrangements must be established before sensitive client information is exchanged.
A signed service agreement governs the services it covers. These website terms do not amend that agreement or override applicable confidentiality, data protection, or business associate obligations.
04 / INFORMATION AND LIMITATIONS
Educational Content Is Not Individual Advice.
Website articles, illustrations, code references, and policy explanations provide general information. They are not medical advice, legal advice, or a definitive determination of how a payer will process a particular claim. Billing Horizon does not provide clinical diagnosis or treatment through this website.
Coding guidance, payer policies, coverage rules, and laws can change and differ by service date, plan, setting, provider, and jurisdiction. Verify the current requirements relevant to your situation. Do not rely on a general example as authorization to submit an unsupported code or claim.
Workflow examples and illustrative dashboards explain concepts rather than promise a specific result. Published client statements and performance information must be evaluated in their stated context.
05 / NO GUARANTEED OUTCOMES
Payer Decisions Remain Subject to Their Requirements.
We do not guarantee a particular reimbursement amount, collection rate, claim outcome, credentialing decision, enrollment date, or payer processing time based on website information. Outcomes depend on factors that may include documentation, eligibility, contracts, payer requirements, provider status, and the circumstances of the service.
Technology and AI-assisted review do not eliminate the need for qualified judgment, supported documentation, and appropriate oversight. Descriptions of compatibility with an EMR or EHR do not, by themselves, establish a certified integration, vendor affiliation, or availability of every interface.
06 / ACCEPTABLE USE
Protect the Website and Other Users.
You may browse and use the website for legitimate business purposes. You must not:
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, records, or infrastructure.
- Introduce malware, interfere with availability, or bypass security controls.
- Use forms to send spam, fraudulent requests, unlawful content, or abusive messages.
- Harvest contact details or extract content in a manner that violates law or these terms.
- Misrepresent your identity, authority, or relationship with Billing Horizon.
Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect security, comply with law, or maintain the website.
07 / PATIENT DATA AND SUBMISSIONS
Keep Patient Records Out of Public Forms.
Do not submit protected health information, patient identifiers, claim documents, payment card details, passwords, or other sensitive records through public website forms. These forms are for business inquiries, not patient record exchange or emergency assistance.
Submitting information does not create permission for unrestricted use of patient records. Existing clients must use their designated secure channels and follow the applicable service agreement and business associate agreement.
You remain responsible for having authority to share information you submit. We may use business inquiry information to respond, evaluate the request, and administer the interaction as described in our Privacy Policy. No transfer of ownership in your confidential business material is implied by a routine inquiry.
08 / ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
Responses Through Electronic Channels.
When you contact Billing Horizon through a website form, email, or another electronic channel, you agree that we may respond electronically about your inquiry or business interaction, where permitted by law.
Responses may include requested information, consultation arrangements, service discussions, and administrative notices relevant to your interaction with us. Electronic delivery does not replace a separate consent or disclosure required by law for a particular transaction.
Promotional communications remain subject to applicable requirements and the choices described in our Privacy Policy’s Marketing Communications section. A general inquiry does not provide unrestricted consent to automated marketing calls or texts.
09 / SMS AND MOBILE MESSAGING
Text Messages, Consent, and Your Choices.
When you provide your mobile number and affirmatively opt in to text messages from Billing Horizon, messages may be sent to that number within the scope of your consent and applicable law. A telephone number supplied for a business inquiry is not automatically consent to every type of text message.
Messages may concern customer care, a requested inquiry, service information, or an appointment or consultation. Promotional messages require the consent applicable to that communication. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing or receiving Billing Horizon services.
Message frequency varies with the interaction. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. You are responsible for charges imposed by your carrier.
TO OPT OUT
Reply STOP
You may also contact our team or use another reasonable method to communicate a request to stop applicable messages.
FOR ASSISTANCE
Reply HELP
Or use our Contact page and identify your text messaging question without patient information.
Opt-out requests are processed as required by applicable law. A nonpromotional message may confirm the opt-out where permitted. Other communications may continue only through permitted channels and consistently with the scope of your request and any applicable consent requirements.
Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery can be affected by your device, carrier, network, or other circumstances outside our control. Text messages must not be used for emergencies or confidential patient record exchange.
Provide only a mobile number you are authorized to use, and notify us if it changes. Details about handling contact information and messaging choices are in the Mobile Privacy & Text Messaging section of our Privacy Policy. For assistance, contact Billing Horizon.
10 / CONTENT OWNERSHIP
Use Website Materials With Permission.
Website text, design, graphics, and other materials owned by Billing Horizon or its licensors are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view the content and retain reasonable copies for your internal evaluation of our services, provided notices are preserved.
You may not republish, sell, distribute, or present our materials as your own without permission, except as allowed by law. Logos, trademarks, and references belonging to third parties remain their respective owners’ property. Their appearance does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
11 / THIRD PARTY RESOURCES
External Links and Platforms.
The website may link to external resources or mention payer, technology, and professional organizations. We do not control those sites or guarantee their availability, content, policies, or services. Review their terms and privacy notices when using them.
Descriptions of third party tools or systems are informational. A separate agreement, configuration review, or authorization may be required to use a particular platform in a client engagement.
12 / WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
Availability, Updates, and Disclaimers.
The public website and its general information are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free content, or suitability of general website information for every purpose.
Content and features may be updated, corrected, suspended, or removed. These website disclaimers do not reduce express obligations in an executed service agreement or duties that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
13 / LIABILITY AND LEGAL PROTECTIONS
Limits Apply Only Where the Law Allows.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Billing Horizon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, this public website or reliance on its general information.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These website terms do not waive statutory rights or remove obligations concerning protected information. Liability for contracted services is addressed in the applicable service agreement, subject to law.
14 / APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
Preserve the Requirements That Apply.
Use of the website remains subject to applicable federal and state law. Mandatory legal protections take precedence over any inconsistent website term.
A governing law, venue, or dispute provision in an executed service agreement applies to the matters covered by that agreement. These website terms do not independently require arbitration, waive a jury trial, or select an exclusive court for every visitor. Where no separate agreement governs, applicable law determines the appropriate legal rules and forum.
15 / CHANGES AND INTERPRETATION
Changes to These Terms.
We may revise these terms as the website, communications, or applicable requirements change. The update date identifies the current version. Any notice or acceptance required by law for a change will be handled as applicable; publication alone does not override a separate signed agreement.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A decision not to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive its application later.
16 / CONTACT
Questions About These Terms.
For questions about website use, electronic communications, or SMS preferences, use our Contact page. Identify the topic without including patient information, credentials, or confidential claim documents.
Existing clients should use their designated service contact for questions about their agreement or confidential engagement details. See our Privacy Policy for information handling and our Compliance & Regulatory Policy for the operational standards described on this website.
